Re: So my DD is moving

  • lol DD was 17 lbs at 13 months as well. Thats right around when we *finally* moved her to the convertible seat, but truthfully I think we could have gotten a little longer out of the carrier!

  • Aww, haha.

My DD was 17 lbs at that age too...she actually just now reached 20 lbs on the dot. I think she could still ride in her infant seat, except we switched to a convertible at 4 months because she hated the infant seat.

I miss it, I wish I could still take the whole seat out when she falls asleep in the car. lol

I KNOW she can be in it a little longer but FI keeps teasing me about it. I should just stick to my guns and go with my instinct and keep her in in. Oh decisions decisions lol. Im sure the convertible is just as safe if not more but I dont know guys, Im thinking she can stay in it a little longer. Maybe im just being a baby.

I didn't move my DD out of her infant seat until 15.5 months. She is just now 20 lbs at 18 months but she got too tall for the infant frame. I had a Chicco Keyfit 30

  • I'm pretty sure that my DD could still fit in her infant seat,  we moved her at 6 months because moving her + the seat was heavy.
