I have to say, I don't buy a lot there(mostly diapers) but I noticed people saying they buy a lot of their necessities there. Is TP and other household stuff a better price there?
I buy so much from Amazon it's crazy! I'm convinced that I'm saving money because I tend to impulse buy if I go out to stores. I also save time and gas by shopping from home. And I get to read reviews on products before I buy them. In the last month I've bought toys, books, a nutribiotic extract to kill yeast in CDs, a rain barrel, Hello Kitty birthday hats, a pizza peel, a portable high chair, and a convertible car seat. Seriously, I have a problem. :-/
We buy so much from Amazon. We have subscriptions to a few food items that we like and eat a lot. Many of my friends have registerd there now for baby registries or weddings so it makes it easy to shop for them, plus the prices are usually cheaper.
I buy pretty much everything I can from Amazon (as long as it's Prime).
In the past 6 months, I've bought:
-pots and pans
-shoes
-sippies
-gifts for friends
-CDing accessories
-disposable diapers
-a carseat
-camera gear
-a lunch tote
- most of our Christmas gifts
So, anything I would normally run to Target for, I check to see if I can get it via Amazon Prime first. I agree with Hikerbride - I feel like it actually saves me money by *not* going to Target and buying random impulse purchases.
Here's what we've bought in the past few months. I've gotten to the point that anytime I'm need to buy something, I look there first. For the cell phone headset that I bought, they sell the EXACT same one at Target for $30. I got it from Amazon for $3 with free shipping.
I will buy pretty much anything from Amazon if I can get free shipping and the cost is comparable to other stores. It saves me the time and effort of running errands. I just bought a new razor and travel coffee mug from amazon. I could've bought them from Target, but it would've taken me 60-90 minutes to drive there, shop, and drive back, and I'm sure I would've found other things to buy while I was there. It took me 5 minutes to buy them from amazon, and that includes reading reviews of different products to decide which ones to buy.
I definitely agree that it saves - saves my time and saves me from the random crap I will pick up at Target (but I still love Target, but I do tend to just buy stuff I normally wouldn't)
Re: S/O what do you buy on amazon?
