PSA: FBI Releases Warning about OBL Picture Virus
Ya'll know I work in IT, right? This is the first thing that came in this morning - it's no joke:
The FBI has released a warning of a malicious email that apparently shows images of Osama bin Laden?s recent death. Beware that viruses can come in the form of emails as well as links via Facebook or Twitter. Please do not open or click on any such email or links.
Emails may have variations of the following in the subject line or message body: "See video in which Osama bin Laden is shown holding a newspaper with today's date and disprove his possible death reported by OBAMA" or "pictures-of-osama-dead.exe."
