At DC they have these little circles that you are supposed to write a little note to the teachers from your LO and leave it on the door.
I was thinking about doing something little as well. Since I'm on a clay pot kick (see mothers day post) I was thinking about doing small pots, painted with chalkboard paint and then put a little flower or something in it. Does that sound lame/cheap? Are you doing anyting for your LO's teachers?
Re: teacher appreciation week, doing anything?
We did 2 $10 gc' s for DD's main teachers and I brought homemade raisin spice muffins in. According to DH, they really liked the muffins.
ETA: I made the muffins Sunday night. I don't bake during the week and it is just too hectic for us to pick something up in the am.
Its this week.
I haven't done anything yet. I will make it to Target one night and get the 2 main teachers GCs. I'd love to bake something, but I'm tired enough as it is. I MIGHT make something this weekend.
I'm certainly not giving teaching supplies or giving a group gift that the school will redistribute (blech) as the school suggested!
I made the teachers little Easter baskets and the thing they seemed most excited about was hand lotion... They wash their hands so many times during the day I figured that they would like some nice lotion.
Maybe I'll get an assortment of lotions and let them pick which one they want. (There are 2 baby rooms, and they are combined in the mornings and afternoons, so there are 6 teachers!)
