what did your baby weigh @ 1 month check?

Hi there...just curious to see what other babies weighed at birth & at their one month checkup. My son, weighted 7lbs 11oz when born ( 7lbs 6oz when discharged) and at his one month he weighed 10lbs 4ounces!

Also, how many ounces is your baby eating?

My DS weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz..at newborn appt 3 days later, he was already back to his birth weight...(little hippo!)

One month appt - Oliver weighed 11 lbs...

He is now a little over 3 months and eating about 4 1/2 oz...every few hours...sometimes he snacks, sometimes wants more, sometimes less....

Birth weight 8 pounds 3 ounces. One month visit 11 pounds 3 ounces. Our two month visit is today. I can't wait to see how much this little man weighs!! He currently takes about 5 ounces. During the day he will go 3 to 4 hours. At night he goes up to 8 hours!!

I think I might need to up his morning bottles though. He's starving when he wakes up!

DD was 6lb 5oz - 6lb even at 1 week, at 1 month she was 7lbs 5oz. At 2.5 months she got to 9lbs. So around a 1lb a month.

DS was born at 10 lb 3 oz. it took him a long time to get back to his birth weight but at his 1 month appt he was 11 lb 6 oz. we have our 2 month visit in a couple of weeks and i suspect he's gained quite a bit. he eats 4 oz (up until last week it was all bm, but now i'm transitioning him to formula) every 2.5-4 hours. during the day he'll scream bloody murder at 2.5 hours, but at night he can easily go 4 hours, sometimes up to 5.

Birth: 6 pound, 5 ounces. One month: 8 pound, 7.5 ounces. DD drinks about 20-25 ounces per day.

I have no idea how many ounces he is eating, he is breastfed.

However, he was 8lbs 9.7oz at birth, I forget what he dropped too, but he was still over 8lbs, and was 11lbs 6oz at his 1 month check.

He's now at least 14lbs, at 7 weeks. I'll find out in a few hours.

He eats around 28 to 30oz a day which is on target with his weight, so the pedi says anyway. He's such a chunker where his big brother has always been small..the big baby thing is all new to me, lol!

At birth DS was 7lbs 13oz. Four days old he was 7lbs 8oz. At one month old he was 10lbs 2oz. He is EBF so I have no idea how many oz he eats.

DS2 was 8lbs3oz at birth and 10lbs3oz at 1 month. My first was a chunker. His stats were: 9lbs8oz at birth 12lbs12oz at 1 month (Both breastfed)

Aaron weight 8lbs 15oz at birth. He was 8lbs 12oz at discharge. At his 1 month appointment last week he weight 12lbs 1oz! Chunky! He's eating anywhere between 4 and 6 ounces at a time.

Noah was 9 lbs. 5 oz. at birth and weighed 12 lbs. 10 oz. at his one-month check-up on Monday. He averages about 28-30 oz. per day. This thread makes me happy because I'm mildly paranoid about how much DS eats and gains, but it looks like he is totally on target.

Oh my, thanks for all the feedback! I thought my little man was a chunker too but he's not. He eats 4 ounces every feeding, sometimes has a little top off every 3 hours. He'll prbly strart taking more this week...I'm exclusively pumping..

DD was 8lb 10oz at birth, 8lb 3.5oz at discharge, 8lb 14oz at 1 month. She is now taking five 5oz bottles each day and I am guessing she will probably be around 11lbs at her 2 month appt. next week.

6 lbs 14 oz at 2 weeks

7 lbs 1 oz at 3 weeks

He's bf'ed + 2 oz of formula at every feeding

We had feeding and weight issues, so he started at 7lb 8oz, and he finally was back to his birth weight at 1 month. He's eating much better now and I expect him to be close to 10lb by his 2 month check up.

My daughter weighed 6 lbs. 9.7oz at birth and at her last appointment weighed 10 lbs. 3oz. She now drinks about five ounces at each feeding.
