Re: non-partisan voting poll: what time are you voting tomorrow?

  • I'm planning to go around 8 (but I am going to the Skins game tonight so that could be pushed back a bit).  I know I am running the risk of crazy lines but I can't risk going after work since once I get here it is difficult to leave sometimes.

  • We had the option to vote early so we went last week.  :)

  • Our top nanny pick is coming tomorrow at 9 am to watch Mason in some sort of "trial run".  I'll go vote then and, if there isn't a big line, hopefully hit the gym before she leaves at noon.

I am also so excited to watch the returns-- I love election night!

BTW, Gretchen your pic is SO cute-- it made me smile just to see that belly shot!

  • I am going at about 10am. Hopefully it won't be to crowded! I don't know when DH is going.
  • I'm planning to go around 9am.  I want to go after everyone who has to be at work on time, but not too close to lunch.

I am also excited for tomorrow!

  • We did mail in ballots so are done.

  • I voted absentee today. I was at the courthouse anyways getting a building permit. I waited 3 minutes.

  • I wish we had early voting.  I am probably going to go first thing in the morning with DH.  I would prefer to go mid-morning or afternoon since I am home but I will go with him to keep him company in line.  I'll have to take a nap tomorrow so I can stay up late!

  • My polls don't open early enough to go before work and still get here on time, so my only option is after work, around 6pm.  Pray for me. Big Smile
  • Depending on how quickly I get my butt in gear that morning, sometime between 8-9am
  • After work, so probably around 3

  • When they open at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow, I will be waiting. Our polling place is like 3 minutes from our house, and if I wait until after work, I will have to wait in line, WITH Grace....haha...a walking 14-month old who loves to explore. I don't think so.

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get in and out by going early.

  • Voting!  Voting for what??  Did I miss something?
  • I plan to go around 9:30 or 10 - hopefully, I'll avoid the crowds.

  • We are going in the morning at 7am.  I don't get off of work early enough to go after work, so DH, Ava and I are getting up early!
  • Voted on Sat, waited in 1/1/2 hour line.  I am in KS and we are expected to have record early voting turnout in my county.

  • My polling place is on my way to work so I will drive by in the morning and see how bad the line is.  If it is really long I will go after work (4pm)

  • Sometime after work. Polls don't open until 8:00 am here (seems late doesn't it)? I'm so nervous and anxious. I sooo hope Obama wins.
  • Normally we go in the evening after work but I'm guessing that's a busier time so this year we're planning to leave the house around 7am, get a coffee, and go stand in line!  Hopefully I'll be done in time to make it to work @ 8:30 and DH @ 9:00!  I'm really excited too!

  • I need to talk to DH, depends on if he wants me to go with him or not. So I'll either go around 10am tomorrow or whenever he gets off, probably after 6pm....
  • I'm planning on going at around 2.  I'm hoping it'll be a slow period, but I'm bringing some knitting anyway, in case I wind up in a looooong line.

So excited (and a little nervous) for tomorrow!

  • DH and I are going together after work...probably around 4:30pm. Thankfully our polling place is not one of the busy ones so it should be fairly quick. Like Gretchen, I can't wait for the political ads to stop. I swear I see 20 a night at least!!

  • I will be there when the polls open at 6:00.  I need to go before work, because after work I have a doctor's appt.  I hope I am one of the first in line!

  • I am working from home tomorrow so plan to go around 10ish. I am hoping I'll miss those that are going before work.

  • I happen to have an u/s scheduled for 2:15 tomorrow afternoon, so my plan is to hit the polls after that so it shouldn't be too busy.

I really can't wait to stop seeing all of the political commercials and crap that goes along with it
