Designing business cards/logo?

My cousin is building up her photography business (out of state), and is working on creating her first business cards. She was looking at the sample business cards and trying to build one from there, but I suggested that she have one created for her so it isn't generic.

Any ideas where she would find someone to do this for her and how much it might cost? She has ideas :)

    I just worked on re-designing our business cards for my company. I went to where we get our cards printed and sat down with them and gave them ideas and our logo and we went back and forth with ideas until we got what I wanted. They didn't charge me anything for the design services, just for the printing. We use a local printer called Minuteman Printing. They are a franchise though and they may have locations in her area, not sure.

    If she doesn't have a logo or anything to start with, she may want to find a graphic designer and start there. She can even check out Etsy and then just have them printed locally or using a cheaper site like vistaprint etc...

    I was going to suggest Etsy as well.  I've seen designers on there that offer their services for a flat rate and will work with her to develop something she is happy with.

    My neighbor owns ALK Design. She's great at creating logos, websites, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend a website that showcases her work and stays apart from the others! Good luck.

    My dh used them to design a business logo awhile back for a business that never really took off, but they did a great job.  they have examples of what they have done on their site as well.
