Sorry I've been slacking.

So how was everyone's day? I was a walking zombie today even though Aubrey gave me 6 hrs of sleep (broken up, of course) last night. We had DH's coworker over for dinner and me and her watched 16 & PG. I was so sleepy the whole time and was the worst hostess ever. Not to mention Aubrey is constipated so she was super fussy so the poor girl did not get to hold her that much or enjoy the time she did hold her. Now that we're getting ready for bed and our guest is long gone I just noticed she brought us over a wonderful gift I feel so rude and embarrassed. Ugh.

I actually got a chance to get some naps in today. One was from like 9am to 10am, the 2nd one was from like 2pm to 4pm. It was quite a treat! LO is still up but she is laying in the PNP making animal noises, since she isn't crying I am letting her chill in there while I am in the living the room. (My house is a one floor rancher so I can hear her from the living room Wink

)

I can't believe that on Friday my LO will be a month old. Time is flying way too fast and it is making me sad. That means that I will be back to work in no time. Sad

On Friday my mother and I are taking LO to Walmart to get some portraits done. I'm really excited, hopefully I will get some good shots to share with you all.

yesthisiskim, call your guest tomorrow and thank her for the gift. Sometimes I am in autopilot mode too and don't realize things until later. I'm sure she understands.

We apparently aren't ever going to sleep again. PJ has severe silent reflux going on since Wednesday, and it's reached it's breaking point....We've been up since 5 am yesterday. Right now, he's laying on BF making choking noises in his sleep...but he's asleep...for 10 minutes at a time.

I might lose my mind tonight.

Just got back from Walgreens. I bought a fan because it is 80* in my house right now. I literally have 4 fans going on in my bedroom. My DH will be installing the wall air conditioner this weekend. This heat is crazy.

My DH has tomorrow off so he said he will be up with the LO if he wakes up tonight. I am so excited that I will get some much needed sleep! Party!!!

We're up - LO hasn't slept since 11 this morning. She's not fussy or crying or anything; she just won't sleep. She's in her PnP now, just cooing and kicking her feet. I'm tempted to just lay down and get some rest and if she gets upset her cries will wake me up. I'm the worlds worst mom when I'm so tired.

Jared worked on Rachael and Brent's house for a few hours (our friend who is the doula/newborn photographer). He's doing construction work to pay for our photos. Then we went to the Tri-Cities--a little over an hour away--where there's a mall, etc. We hit Lowe's and got a rug for the nursery and a bunch of remodeling stuff, and I got to exchange my nursing bra that fell apart the first time I washed it at the maternity store.

Then, we went to Red Robin (that's how NOT to lose the baby weight)... and came home. He's now custom painting a mural in the nursery, and I'm "bumping" with Liam asleep across my lap. He just said I'm allowed to go into the nursery and check out the mural he's working on! Woot!

We're up- as usual. Today I worked really hard at keeping Evie up after feedings for 1-2 hours, and we did a bedtime routine. The thing is, she doesn't have an issue going down initially- it's always after the 1 o'clock feeding that the trouble starts. She thinks it's morning I guess. So we end up spending the first half of the night in the bedroom with her sleeping soundly in the Moses basket, then I get up and take her to the futon in the study for the second half so daddy can sleep. While writing this, lo fell asleep... Coud this be for real or she is tricking me?? Fingers crossed she's out for good!

Hey! Feeding LO agIn here. I was so excited bc she has been eating every 3 hours during the day BUT we're still doing 2 during the night. Her reflux wakes her up

we got prilosec from the ped today... So far it doesn't seem to be helping and this stuff was $30!

Up feeding Andrew right now, but I'm very excited that I just got 4 straight hours of sleep. Our new bedtime routine seems to be working - at least for the past two nights. He was pretty fussy today so I was worried about tonight, but so far so good.

Dean is currently going to town on mommy's left boob. And he wet his clean diaper in the 10 seconds it took me to carry him from the changing table to the glider. I love 3am!

Went to LC 1today, have a yeast infection on the nips. Hoping the meds work soon since Im sick of them constantly hurting! LO is 9lbs now though. He is being good to me and giving me a 4 hour stretch of sleep which is nice! Hoping he eats well so he sleeps some more!

Ugh, zombie mom is back. I can hardly keep my eyes open! I think now that Aubrey gives me these longer stretches of sleep (3hrs compared to 1 or 2) my body doesn't want to wake up or something. I even had half a can of coke at midnight but it did nothing but make me burp. I'm just excited she's doing so well because our company totally threw off our bedtime 'routine' - go Aubrey for knowing what time it was and what to do!

Oh and one more thing - if DH doesn't stop snoring I think I will strangle him in his sleep! It's SO annoying, keeping Aubrey awake and it's pissing me off because I'd DIE to sleep long enough to get into a deep enough sleep to snore. That as$hole...

Back again for a feeding but guess what??? We SLEPT between this one and the last!! WooHoo!!!! Here's hoping the bedtime routine has done the trick and this becomes the new norm.

So jealous of all you ladies sleeping!!! LO is having a hard time tonight. Her nose sounds stuffy and everytime I lay her down she cries

so I'm back downstAirs feeding her then plan on letting her do some swing sleeping....hopefully!

abby just woke up from her first stretch of sleep in over 24 hours. she hasn't slept more than an hour at a time and has been constantly nursing or screaming b/c she's not nursing. i thought maybe she wasn't getting enough from me so i tried giving her a bottle, but there was no difference. she was just crazy hungry. however, i think she wore herself out because she just gave me 4 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. woohoo!

well, we've had a very long day. finally a little after midnight she fell asleep (after more than 6 hours of fussing). however, DH and I got in an arguement so, he rolled over to sleep at 12:30, but I was up crying until almost 2. luckily she slept until 4:30 so I got some sleep. now I'm sitting here finishing feeding her hoping she falls asleep this time

Same situation here!!! I'm exhausted - between listening to Noah and my dh I slept for about an hour last night.
