We started color coding the girls a few weeks ago. It has helped with family being able to tell them apart in pictures. Livian is usually in purple, and Alayna is usually in pink. 
They are 12 weeks old today! I can hardly believe that they will be 3 months old on Sunday!

We are actually not sure if they are identical or not. They were di/di (two sacs two placentas) and only about 10 percent of di/di twins are identical. They do have the same blood type, and they do look a lot alike! We are going to wait a little while and see if their hair grows in the same and eyes change the same and if they do we will get a DNA test called a "Twin Zygosity test" that is just a cheek swab that we send in and will tell us if there DNA is the same...
As for telling them apart, I am about the only one that can. Although I do get them mixed up from time to time (usually in the middle of the night). Their heads are shaped a little different, and that could be because one was born the normal way and one was born by c section. Alayna also has a small birth mark on her right calf.
