Hair Question

Do you wash your hair everyday?  I used to, but now I do it every other day.  It doesn't look as good, but omg the amt.of time it saves me in the morning is priceless.  It's not like I have clients to impress, lol.

The thing is, if I were to do this a few years ago, it would be a greasy mess.  I mean ungodly gross.  Now, it's just not as fluffy, but not greasy if I go a day.  weird.

Has your hair changed since having a baby(ies)?  I mean, for the better?  because not having to wash everyday is better, right?

Re: Hair Question

  • It's standard for me to wash every other day, sometimes I go a third day but not that often.  But I have super duper thick hair that is really dry (it is naturally curly, but I straighten it every day).  My hair actually looks better the second day.  I always hate my hair washing days because it takes FOREVER to dry my hair.  I even got the keratin treatment and I think my hair is anti-keratin!  It didn't really help that much.

  • My hair is really fine, and it gets really greasy if I don't wash it every day.  Sometimes it even looks greasy by the end of the day.  I've never been able to skip a day washing my hair.

However, I'm noticing that it's much drier now that I'm pregnant.  I've actually had to start using conditioner to keep it from being brittle and grassy-feeling.  I don't think I could skip washing it, though I've not tried.

  • When I am not pregnant I have to wash my hair everyday because it gets so greasy. Now that I am pregnant again I can wash every other day.

  • My hair has changed so much since I had my boys.  I usually go every 3 days washing it, sometimes every other day.  My hair use to get oily and I had to wash it every other day, but now my hair is much drier.  It's also thicker (I already had very thick hair to begin with), and my naturally straight hair now has a wave to it.  I hate the wave and I have to flat iron it just to try to get it to go away.

  • I always had to wash my hair every day (it was very greasy if I didn't). Now I can get away with every 2-3 days. I have discovered the Suave Dry shampoo and that helps it look better if I don't wash it.

My hair changes all the time.  Sometimes it is really curly, and then it will be straight as a stick for like a year.  I'm pretty sure it's hormonal.  I'm starting to get white hair and the texture of that is way different from the rest of my hair.  I have thick hair and I usually wash it every 3 days.  Of course I still bathe everyday, I just don't wash my hair.  It gets too dry and frizzy if I wash it too much.

If I could afford to do it I would go to the Blow Out Bar at my hair salon twice a week.  For $22 they will shampoo, condition, blow out and flat iron.  My idea of heaven!

I have naturally curly hair, but once I got pregnant, it doesn't curl, its just frizz, so I just straighten it. But the good thing is, it doesn't turn into a huge frizz ball with humidity anymore.

I don't wash my hair everyday. I wash it every other day, or every 3rd day.

  • My hair is curly and thick so I've always washed it every other day. Since having the babies it's less curly just in the back which is very weird and even drier and frizzier to the point that I just wash it every 3rd day or its just bad. It definitely looks better on the second day.
