sheila! you have the sweetest boys ever! i just watched the videos on your blog when carter was in the hospital and he has the sweetest little voice and my heart just broke for him being in there. i hope he is recovering quickly! and i couldnt believe how well he did with the tube up his nose - i know tyler would have ripped that thing out so fast!

    Thank you for thinking of him!  He was definitely yanking out the tubes the first day, and they taped them onto his face.  It was clear tape so you can't really see it in the video.  Then, he kind of got used to it and it didn't bother him anymore.  He only needed the tubes the first few days, and had them removed after his surgery.

    I have a ton more pics to post - it will be a very well documented hospital stay.  :-)  Hopefully the only one he'll ever need!

    BTW, how much time did you spend in the hospital?  Are your hospital days over, or do you still have more to go?  I hope it is all behind you!  Carter was there for 8 days.  Hospitals are super depressing - I couldn't wait to get out of there!

    holy smokes! 8 days?! that is insane. i would have lost my mind. with both of my c-sections i demanded that they let me go after 3 days because i was going to go crazy. i need fresh air!

    i actually only ended up staying for 2 days and then they released to me to my parents house for the remainder of my treatment. i had to stay away from the kids for 6 days which was hell, but i was so grateful i was able to go to my parents. i couldnt have imagined being cooped up for 6 days in the hospital and i was in isolation so people couldnt visit either. it was depressing!

    so glad to hear carter is doing better! what a relief and how scary.
