I?m sitting at home recovering from surgery, which means I have lots of time to kill.I?m seeking entertain that doesn?t require moving or large amounts of concentration!
Mandy ? hopefully your referendum will pass!Sometimes when they make the cuts so extreme everyone can agree something has to be done?
I?m also so happy for the recent BFPs, and hoping it bodes well for the all the tww-ers!!Seems like there?s been a lot of good news around here, let?s keep it coming!
They made me take a pregnancy test at the hospital before I had surgery.Ha.I was hoping for immaculate conception!(Think DW would buy it?)
Two ? Baby passports are precious!!That?s going to make a great souvenir from your trip.
Speaking of passports, DW and I really need to get going on updating ours? we bought our honeymoon plane tickets in our married name, and now it?s coming up in less than 2 months and our passports still have our old names.I hate having to start with a fresh stamp-free one again though.
My bbt chart is actually sort of making the shape it?s supposed to make.(We?re working on several months of tracking before trying, but this is the first time it has been at all predictable.)
I think I?m ready to retire.Ha.
DW has been so amazingly good to me since I had surgery.I owe her big time.

1. Another fun day at work. It is only 10am and I have already been on the phone to CPS and the police.
2. I love my wife, but when she called last night saying how tired she was at the conference she is attending, it was all I could do not to explode. I had just walked in the door with 2 grumpy, tired, filthy, whining kids after a crazy day at work. I had to stop, breathe, and remind myself that it isn't a competition.
3. She needs to come home because we miss her and I stay up waaay past my normal bedtime watching crap on tv that she would never watch.
4. I am tired of thinking about food - What to fix the kids for dinner. What to fix for their lunches.
5. L has big changes coming to her work. I wonder what that will mean for us (she still has a job - but it could mean a promotion and/or new job responsibilities or her looking for a new job.)
6. I am really excited for our mini-vacation (one night) this weekend. The kids are beside themselves excited!
7. It is supposed to storm tonight. I am hoping that it is over prior to bedtime since the kids HATE storms and so we let them sleep in our bed.
8. I have was thinking about leaving here 30m early today because I am tired of getting home at 6pm. I just realized that i am on-call today and tomorrow and therefore can't leave early - and will hopefully get to leave on time.
9. I am excited for all of the BFPs on here and in my "real" life!
10. L is picking up the kids from school tomorrow so I can run errands solo! YIPPEE!
1. The nursery looks absolutely beautiful!! I am totally in love with the color scheme we choose. I can't wait for the furniture to be delivered on Thursday!!
2. I was worried I was accomplishing too much too fast only to be bored 'later'. HA! After stepping outside the lovely nursery, I noticed the color of the hallway (and thus, stairway and family room, since it is an exposed staircase) doesn't match at ALL with the nursery color. Like b.a.d.
3. It looks like there is a lot more painting in my future.
4. I am a stay-at-home mom without-a-baby extraordinaire! The house is sparkling and dinner is carefully planned, rooms are being redeisgned... 2 days in and I am killing it.
5. I wonder if the vents I painted outside are dry?
6. I have been feeling great lately but today I am feeling super hung over. I haven't felt this way in weeks and it took me by surprise as I mused.. 'WHY did I drink so much last night?!' and then I remembered I am pregnant.. Perhaps I am 'killing' it too much (see #4)
7. The weekend beings the craziest month of our wedded life. Every moment of every weekend is packed
8. I really don't like being that busy..
9. My dog, Grace, had a tick on her face last night. I am SO happy I don't have that job anymore!
1. I walked/jogged a mile at the park yesterday, it cleared my head and made me less stressed.
2. This weekend is Izzie's meet and greet party and we have nothing planned for it... Maybe grill carne asada? Put all the kids in the trampoline?
3. Izzie doesn't answer my "why did/do you do this or that?" questions, she says the most random things so she is sitting down right now drawing a picture about how she feels.
4. I talked to my Dad this weekend about how I'm handling the transition and instead of giving me good advice, he made me feel bad. That's really out of character for him.
5. We intended to make chow mein and eggrolls last night with the girls for their weekly cultural activity but they both crawled in bed and took a nap. Oh well, we will try again later this week.
6. I have been freaking out lately because A is getting closer to being 10. She just turned 7 this year but she is only 3 years away from being 10 and I know those 3 years are going to fly by. I'm not ready for my baby to be 10.
7. My garden looks pitiful right now.
8. I was supposed to RSVP for my brothers baby shower by May 1st and forgot. Should I still call to give the host a heads up that the four of us will be there?
9. J fired the gardener yesterday when he showed up at 7:15PM, he smirked at her the entire time she talked to him. Grrr.
10. Looks like we need to buy a lawnmower and weed whacker.
2. Whoa, last night was rough. I think the little ones are getting more teeth- and I guess its good they are geting them at the same time, but geez, some sleep would have been nice.
3. I can't seem to get used to the working parent guilt. Little G had a really rough day yesterday, and I had to work late, so I didn't seem him until he was up all night.
4. We have a grant a week due at work for the next 3 weeks, and the Pride celebration in a month- eeek!

6. We sent in our check for our Ptown rental!!! Now I think about it everyday!
7. I tried to take vacation two weeks ago, and wound up working 30 hours. Wow, I'm not really good at this vacation thing at all!
8. We just got 8 bags of clothes from a friend- now our house looks like an episode of "Hoarders"
9. I just found out a friend who I helped get connected to our fertility folks is KU!! yay more gaybies!
GREAT on the BFP's...but, please don''t get any ideas C...
How did our Little Man learn to climb on to the couch without the help of anything? He is something else!
Two people struggling with the dregs of pneumonia, two Kiddos with ear infections that won't go away, and one Kiddo who looks like he got in a fight...*sigh*
Some people at work have me PO'd! I hate having to explain myself, especially when they point fingers before exploring "truths."
CT, I am with you, the Kiddos don't know what to buy Mommy.
Mommy celebrates Mother's Day on Sunday, and Mama on May 10th (Mexico's day of celebration). I like that my day is always set.
C, the Kiddos want to get Mama a new wallet and socks .
I love the way the daycare provider combs Peanut's hair, but I agree with C, it isn't her place to do so.
My primary care doctor is pregnant...I am so happy for her!
Peanut spilled water on my keyboard at work and it has been hard typing this...the keys get stuck. I guess I have to call IT.
I'm so glad to be home the trip back from Oklahoma was terrible. There were delays, missed flights and my luggage was lost.Good thing I won't have to fly again for a while.
We've decided to move our TTC date up to this year:)
I'm so glad to be finished with this semester. I got 2 A's and 2 B's not bad for working fulltime and taking fulltime classes. Let's see if I can keep it up for the next 2 semesters.
I signed up for living social the deals are great. I bet Jay wishes I never found that site, everyday I want to buy something lol.
I'm eating lunch at my desk today.
Well I guess I only have seven things today...
Our NEW Blog Married my best friend 5*15*2008 Trying to start our family 8*2011 unmedicated iui#3= bfp 10/20/11!
beta#1=11, beta#2=85, beta#3=741,beta#4=1000,beta#5=2146,beta#6=7454
*please keep doubling*
1. Yahoo for all the BFPs...may the streak continue!!!
2. DD's school mother's day tea is at 3pm tomorrow which means I have to leave work by 2pm, ugh. I'm going, but don't people realize that there are these things called j.o.b.'s which is why our kids are in school all day?
3. DD ended up spending the entire weekend with her paternal grandparents...she begged me to stay because she was having so much fun. Her dad is angry about this...get over yourself.
4. DD told her nana some things that are upsetting her about spending time with her dad. Not sure how I'm going to handle this yet, my head is spinning.
5. It could be that #4 is just the result of parental favoritism, but I can't let it go and I'm thinking it's time to involve a 3rd party professional to get to the bottom of things.
6. My old boss is in town and I'm going to meet her for dinner on Saturday. I'm looking forward to seeing her and catching up, we were close friends before she moved back to TX.
7. My favorite artist Brandi.Carlile has a new album out today. She is local and she is family She is doing a small live performance at a place close to my work at 4pm and I am SO tempted to sneak out of here and go. My work afternoon changed and I see no reason not to just do it!
8. I've been trying to finish this for the last 2 hours and keep getting interrupted...I think I'm going to have to stop here!
2. now I just have to stay calm until I see it go over 1k.
3. I need a nap. oooooh, how I need a nap.
4. my computer is being stupid and my chat isn't working right. it sucks.
5. my office is so cold. I'm glad I have my little floor space heater.
6. it's May. isn't it supposed to be warm now?
7. my boss actually just went home for the day because it's so cold in his office.
8. I want to go home.
9. did I mention I'm tired?
10. my wife tried to surprise me by getting the room in our basement fixed up and turned into a playroom/den/exercise space, but I caught her. I'm so excited!
2. Eli is starting to take steps. He took 5 in a row at my parents' and then again on each of the last couple days--he has a huge smile/sense of accomplishment when he does it, which melts me!
3. A couple months ago, I told Kel that I hoped he was solidly walking before the baby came or that he held off for a month or so after...well, I am dilated and have increasingly regular contractions so I am thinking we are on a collision course after all...
4. I can't believe it is May already--where have the last 9 months gone?
5. It doesn't help that we keep getting snow flurries. May 1 is Kel's birthday--we grilled at her parents and her dad had to wear a coat and gloves to run the grill
6. It is only 3pm and I am so done for the day--to bad I have a conference call at 5
7. We (finally) have our adoption date set for Eli--it is a year exactly from his due date. We drew a great judge and I will be glad to make it legal. Hopefully, we will get the background check turned around faster the second time and finalize the second baby's adoption in 2011 too.
8. It feels more urgent as the anti-gay rhetoric is heating up around here. The republicans took over both our house and senate in November and are currently pushing a constitutional amendment ballot question banning gay marriage through right now. Our governor (pro-gay marriage) doesn't get a veto
9. The committee hearings are depressing. The votes are straight party line.
10. One bright spot was my good friend, Rep. Steve Simon's awesome comments yesterday: "How many more gay people does God have to create, before we ask ourselves whether or not God actually wants them around." His comments are 3 minutes worth watching: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXpOA3jPC04&feature=share

Going to open houses on Sunday was like going grocery shopping when you're hungry.
Now all I can think about is having a new place to live. SIGH.
I feel like having more room would solve all our problems (like getting out of the house on time in the mornings). But I could just be exaggerating the benefits of sufficient space in my head.
S's mom bought the kids a bunch of new clothes. They are super cute, but now I can't justify buying the kids clothes (because they have a week's worth of outfits now), which is a little sad. I wish I'd been able to pick out some of the outfits (S did the picking).
I am perpetually exhausted.
I have so much to do at work some days I don't know where to start. I hate that.
YAY BLUE!!!! So happy for you!
15 minutes until it is time to go get the kiddos-- yippee! I am looking forward to their smiles. Our little duckies always make my day better.

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
I always try to get this done but Tuesdays are always so busy for me.
This makes no sense because we have a rotating 6 day schedule so Tuesday is never the same schedule.
Ella is such a funny girl of late. She says hi to everyone and gets a little sad that people don't say hi back. I think it is her southern sperm.
If both S and I live through her finals this week it will be a miracle.
I am so excited about our P-town vacation. Once S is done with school I am sure S will be more pumped for it.
I can't decide if we want to sign up for the official family week stuff.
We have about 1.5 months left of school this year. I need to be on vacation.
I have no idea what to do for mothers day for S. Money is tight so I am not sure of the plan.
S has a final on Monday so she will be spending part of mothers day in the library (boo)
This weekend is our march for babies. I am so excited to walk again. Our favorite primary nurse is walking with us! Which is awesome. I am sad our favorite neonatologist who walked with us last year move to New Mexico and she tried to get the weekend off so she could fly in but couldn't get the time off I am sad but I understand.
Oh i am so happy for all the bfp! I love a good gaby boom!

3. I'm getting boudiour photos for Julie for our 3 year anniversary. I'm nervous & excited.
4. A Julie's BFF has openly admitted to crushing on me, it makes things awkward, but I'm flattered and moving past it. She just had a serious break up so I think it's a rebound thing.
5. I want to finish school. Julie starting her MBA gives me motivation.
6. I'm bummed the nearest school to be come an FCS (Home Ec) teacher is 2.5hours away. I can't driver there for classes daily and moving isn't an option. I need to look into some other things.
7. I want my remodel to be finished!
8. I should be working on my Microteaching, but I find them incredibly lame.
9. I've changed my hair like 5 times this month. It's been fun and I FINALLY like it.

1. Getting to this really late - busy at work today, came home and went running, then took Lucky out for a long-ish walk, then made dinner. I am tired now & torn between going to bed early and working on my resume (which I really need to do, but never want to do).
2. Jen and I both got some good job search news today, which cheered us up. (Not good as in, offers, but just leads that seem promising.)
3. Day 9 of giving up sugar. Not sure how long I will be counting. Possibly forever. I ate a LOT of strawberries today.
4. I sent my mom a small gift today, and I basically did everything you can do to get the post office to flag your package as suspicious - no return address, lumpy reused packaging, way too much tape, etc. Fortunately it's not smoking, stained, or ticking, so I think it will make it through.
5. I have so many emails to return, and I owe my parents about 65 phone calls. Argh.
6. I should probably go do some of this stuff instead of just listing it here to complain
1. Its officially five days until we leave for our wedding
2. We dipped into our wedding fund for pedicures and dinner at the hibachi grill (shhh)
3. Found out at dinner my brother is marrying a girl that my family hates, and didn't invite me or DW.
4. We're at my parents house for only 6 more days!!
5. We move into our new house the day after we get back from the wedding. I'm pretty excited.
6. When we get back we'll pay off DW's major credit card and my small store credit card THEN saving for our first IUI!!!!!!!!!!!
7. We're already stressing over if it'll take or not and it's three-four months away LOL
8. I'm really pissed at my brother but so excited to get married...I don't care
9. Our 11 week old husky is no longer a hellion. She's finally learning to sit and stay and what not and she'll start obedience class when we get back.

YIPPEE!
I thought I sent this 45m ago...oops.
10. What to eat.. what to eat...
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
1. Look I'm doing a TTT!!
5. I really hope we get at least one of the grants, then I will be able to breathe a little.
10. I'm ready for lunch, 12:04 be damned!
Married my best friend 5*15*2008 Trying to start our family 8*2011
unmedicated iui#3= bfp 10/20/11! beta#1=11, beta#2=85, beta#3=741,beta#4=1000,beta#5=2146,beta#6=7454 *please keep doubling*
1. DW applied for several jobs in another state. I'm half excited, half scared to death.
2. Pandora tried to take a step today. She is 7 months old. Someone tell her to slow down, please!
3. I keep having dreams about the Royal Wedding. I guess I watched a little too much coverage :-)
4. If LMC throws one more tantrum I am going to lose my freaking mind. It's enough already.
5. Despite our hectic life I still want another baby, a bio baby. I literally ache inside when I think about missing out on that experience.
6. Pandora's first tooth broke through yesterday. There was whining but nowhere near the hysterics as when PBS got her first.
7. I am hungry but I am in a nothing-sounds-good phase. I get that a lot.
8. I keep getting these blinding headaches. Stress?
9. Can we really just up and move to a new state? I am so conflicted.
10. I think I may surprise DW with a Mother's Day gift. We usually don't exchange gifts but I want her to have something special this year. Jewelry?
She is local and she is family
She is doing a small live performance at a place close to my work at 4pm and I am SO tempted to sneak out of here and go. My work afternoon changed and I see no reason not to just do it!
8. I've been trying to finish this for the last 2 hours and keep getting interrupted...I think I'm going to have to stop here!
1. 130!!!! OMG I'm really pregnant!
2. now I just have to stay calm until I see it go over 1k.
1. Congrats on all the BFPs!
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. It's finals week. I'm dying.
2. Money is tight since quitting my job, but I'm happier, thats all that really matters right?
10. I always forget headphones when I go to study.

10. I'm ready to start our family.
