I have a "HUGE" zit forming on my chin. Anyone have any home remedies? I have read that toothpaste is supposed to work? Anyone try that before?

I am not running anywhere tonight to buy any over the counter stuff.

Ha, I've tried toothpaste. Not sure if it did more than make me smell minty, though. But I tend to get very stubborn zits.

I know it's super late, but I wanted to add that a OTC treatment I use that is really cheap is aspirin. The ingredient is the same as whats in most acne meds (salicylic acid).

I get a bottle of 325mg aspirin to keep around the house (make sure it's not enteric coated--it needs to be white, plain aspirin). When you need it for a zit (I usually do this at night), get one tablet & place in the palm of your hand. Place a few drops of water in your palm with the tablet to make a thick paste & place on your zit. When the paste dries, brush off the excess aspirin (do not wash off). Then I wash my face as normal in the am. HTH
