Well... today was my first EDD...

Its a weird day for me.. I am so blessed to have my twins and I hope they keep going to be happy healthy babies.. but today would have been my due date with my first pregnancy. DH jokes that since we lost the first one we were give two this time to pay us back! Dont get me wrong.. I am so excited about my babies.. but still sad to have lost our first one.. does that sound bad?

    Not at all! No one expects you to not feel pain at the loss of a child, and one (or even two) beautiful new lives do not replace the loss of  another beautiful little life.

    That doesn't sound bad at all! I will never forget the babies I lost. Regardless of how long I was able to carry them, they were mine and always will be. I'll be thinking about you today.

    It's not bad at all. Even though you are excited and happy about your twins, it is still hard to think about the lost baby. Sending good thoughts.

    No I completely understand. I would have been giving birth in 3 weeks if I hadn't miscarried in Nov. There is nothing I can do about it, however, except to be thankful for the baby I am carrying now.

    I'm sorry for your loss.  I think those of us who have experienced a loss are always going to be sad about it, no matter how excited and thankful we are about new blessings that come our way.  And your old EDD is a rough day that's gonna bring those feelings of sadness to the forefront.  Mine was March 11; it was a bittersweet day as we were visiting my parents and excited about the new baby, but I could not help missing what could have been.  My thoughts are with you today as you deal with all the conflicting emotions.

    Having a current pregnancy will not ease the pain of losing a previous one. I pray that as this day draws to an end, you find peace and are able to turn some of that sorrow into joy.

    It doesn't sound bad at all.  My first EDD will come in July, and I've already had moments where I feel so incredibly thankful to be pregnant again...but still sad for the baby that was lost.
