i want/need to use my moby wrap but when i put LO into it she is slumped over and it looks uncomfortable... how much did your LO weigh when you first used your moby? i was reading and the manual suggests baby be 8 lbs ... i dont know if there are other holds for smaller babies or if i need to wait a bit (LO weighs 7 lbs now).

Re: moby wrap - please help!
Which carry are you using? The newborn hug hold (or you can do the legs out version, just scrunch/fold the wrap so her legs aren't spread too far) is the way to go over the cradle carry which is very hard to get right.
Make sure you are really tightening the wrap. If it's loose, she will slump more than she should. You want her to be positioned in the wrap as she would be in your arms if you were holding her upright tummy to tummy - so her knees should be slightly above her bum and her back slightly rounded.
Her weight shouldn't be a problem ;-)

Not a moby and this is a different carry but it might give you an idea of how she should look...

this - I don't think the weight is an issue- when I don't have it tight enough, though, LO slides down and is more slumped over
