I was just wondering if any of you use the Clearblue Digital OPK and how long it shows the smiley face for.  I triggered on Friday night (it was negative Friday morning) and by Saturday morning it had a smiley.  Sunday morning it had a smiley.  Sunday night it had a smiley.  Monday night it had a smiley.  You get the point here.....

How long do you usually test positive on those things for?  I'm starting Prometrium tonight and want to make sure I'm not still O'ing.  I had my IUI on Sunday morning and we've done the deed Friday night, Sunday night, and Monday night.  Hubby is getting tired lol....

    The OPK's detect a surge in hormones, not actual O.  The trigger shot FORCED ovulation.  If you had the IUI on Sunday then you can definatly let your husband rest and start your progesterone tonight.  You only O for a moment and the egg is viable for 24 hours for the sperm.  It's not a constant state of being, the OPKs are just picking up on the hormone surge.

    Thanks :)  I didn't want to sound dumb but I just wanted to make sure it was ok lol.  Once again my dumb brain over analyzing everything!!  If only I could just stop worrying..... :)

    I use the same tests, and used to get two days (I only test in the AM) of  smiley's. but the last two cycles I only had one.HTH
