Challenge - Re-intro

Hi Ladies - I'm sure I definitely fit into the lurker category. I was originally a Dec. Mom but on October 11th I woke up in labor, went into the hospital for monitoring and upon arriving in the maternity ward my water broke. They don't know why I went into labor or why my water broke. They sent me by ambulance to a hospital that could handle a 31 week old baby and after 30 hours of labor, 5 hours of pushing, a failed epidural and emergency forcep intervention my sweet DS was born 2 months early on Oct. 12 at 3lbs 14oz. We were incredibly lucky that he had no major health issues, especially with what they deemed a tramatic birth and was able to come home with us after 7 weeks in the NICU. Here's DS a couple of weeks after birth in the NICU on Halloween. His preemie clothes were huge on him.

Myself, DH & DS at 3 months old.

And most recently, DS with the Easter Bunny at 6 months old.

Thanks ladies, yes we are very blessed that he has done so well. Only had to battle some reflux due to his immature digestive system but from what I've read that's not all that uncommon.

Oh my, the Easter bunny (in general) is SO creepy to me but LO looks so stinkin cute on his lap that I may be able to tolerate him!

I'm not technically a December mama either, but my LO was born at the end of Nov. and we didn't have any NICU stay. So glad you have a sweet, healthy baby!
