According to the CDC website, I have 24 hours to keep freshly expressed milk in an insulated bag with an ice pack. The milk I pumped yesterday remained in the insulated bag w/ ice pack starting at 8:45am. This morning I was able to access the room and put that milk (room temperature by now) in a refrigerator at about 9:15am. I can keep it refrigerated until I leave today.
Should I take my chances and keep it, or should I just dump it?
Re: Keep or dump?
if it smells good, keep it; if you are concerned, combine it half and half with freshly pumped
Meant to add this to my post--definitely make it the first stuff you use and don't freeze it.
Ditto. There's no way I could throw out 10oz if I didn't need to!

unless it has a foul odor, i'd keep it.
