Success after IF

Anyone use the new foam hair colors?

Did it work?   Was it easy?    Which one did you use?    My gray hairs are out of control and I just can't keep spending the money to have it done professionally.

Thanks!

Re: Anyone use the new foam hair colors?

  • Yes and I hated it! I used the one from John Freida. And first I must say, it took a minute to get the hang of it after using the other stuff for years. Just the whole concept on how you are supposed to put it on. Next it appeared that it covered my whole head but after washing it out, it left patches of non-color. And 3rd, the color was just all wrong. I do a medium golden brown, so bought the box labeled that way and my hair was a Burgundy RED.

Granted, I have never used a Jon Frieda hair color before this, so maybe it was the brand I hated - I don't know, but it was not easier then the traditional stuff.

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • All I've heard is pretty much what Krissy said.  That it's difficult to really get all of your hair covered because it looks like it's covered when it really isn't.  And that the colors are off on most of them.  I just use the regular cream/gel kinds and they've been okay.

  • I used it and had no problems.  I don't remember the brand but I liked the color and everything.  I'm debating doing it again this weekend, as a matter of fact.

I'm switching off b/w at home and proffessional to cut costs as well.
