Rec. your Convertible seat for small car

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
MIL has requested a seat for her car, which is small. She has never driven with ds but will be helping out when he starts a half day preschool this fall. Our seat is huge (saftety first air), so we won't be buying her that one. I was considering the one that was on sale at Target this week, the Graco MyRide 65, but the reviews say it is pretty huge..

    britax roundabout.

    ETA: hit post too quickly. myride 65 if GINORMOUS. we have a volvo xc70 which is pretty big and it can only fit in the middle RF. I'm sure FF it'll be ok on the side but it's still pretty dang huge. no-go in a small car.

    evenflo titan elite. dh and i both drive A4's and it fits well and isnt too clunky.

    Agree on the Roundabout 55.  It fits RF in any spot in our Escape with the seats completely back.

    Britax Marathon fits beautifully in RFing in my Toyota Corolla. The passenger seat needs to be pushed up a tiny bit, but not all the way like when the infant seat was in the back.

    We have the Roundabout and are shopping for another carseat because LO is about to outgrow the Roundabout rearfacing heightwise (he is one inch from the top of the shell) even though he is only 17 months and always measures less than 15% at his appointments.  I would not recommend the Roundabout if you intend on rearfacing him in it much longer.

    We have the Combi Cocorro and love it.  It's rated really well for safety by consumer reports and is super compact.  Fit just fine in our old BMW 330.  We actually have always had an SUV but liked the Cocorro so much we got it for both our cars even though we didn't need to.

    We have an Evenflo Triumph 65 RFing behind the driver in a VW Jetta. I had wanted a MyRide 65, but it was just a little too big for DH to have the seat far enough back to drive. The Triumph fits great, though.
