How long do you let LO play in the jumperoo?

My baby LOVES her jumperoo. I read once that they should only be in there for 20 minutes but she doesn't want to come out and it's not enough time for me to get much done. How long do you let your LO stay in the jumperoo?

I let her stay in for however long she wants to.  That usually means 15-30 minutes at a time.  I don't even try to get anything done while she is in it though--she only likes it when I am there to witness her jumping and spinning skills.

    This is funny!

OP I let him stay as long as he's happy.  Which isn't usually more than 15-20 minutes.

  • Usually 15-20 minutes.  Lately not as much since he would rather play on the floor and practice crawling.

  • At least a 1/2 and hour, never more than 45. She loves to just stand in there. She barely jumps at this point, she just wants to stand and eat the dragonfly that dangles there. She cries when I try to take her out sometimes.

  • I have never heard that 20 minute limit.  DS usually stays in it until he gets tired of it, which us usually about 30 to 40 minutes.
