cervix= 1.4 at 30 weeks. Anyone similar experience?

I am grateful to have made it to 30 weeks.  At 26 weeks pre-term labor, the docs were not betting on me making it this far.  Since the hospital my cervix has stayed around 1.8 - 2.0.  Yesterday it was at 1.4. 

Babies are getting weekly cervix check and biophysicals, starting weekly NSTs tomorrow and getting fluid checked 2x per week.  All of those things look great so far.

Anyone have similar experience with this length cervix at this point?  Something in me tells me that I am going to make it to at least 34 weeks,  Doc says anything is possible one way or the other.  But looking for real life stories.

    I am 26 weeks right now and my cervix is a 2.0. The dr's did not seem to concerned about it, I am just hoping to hold out as far as I can

    My cervix was a 0.8 at 22wks5days when they caught it and I was unknowingly in PTL. I was on hospital bedrest for the next 10 weeks and my cerivx stayed at a 0.8 the entire time.

    I couldn't even sit up, not even to eat, since the doctor's didn't want any extra pressure on my cervix, even for a short period of time. I just laid on my sides the entire time and I really think that had a lot to do with why my crappy cervix held on so long.

    Good luck! I am really hoping you can keep your LOs in for a couple more weeks!

    My Dr. stopped checking my cervix at 28 weeks.  They felt like it would probably start shortening at that time anyway as would most normal pregnancies.  GL!!

    Mine was around 1.5 at 30 weeks, and I made it to 36w4d (although I was on bedrest from weeks 20-35).  They stopped measuring it at 32 weeks, since it would be expected to be shorter at that point anyway.  Good luck!

    Thanks Ladies!!  After what heppened 4 wks ago I can't help but think the worst of every bit of news.

     But glad to hear/see your beautiful success stories!!!

    My cervix was down to 2.4 cm at 20 weeks.  At 30 weeks, I was at around 1.4 cm and also dilated 1 cm.  I was on modified bed rest at 20 weeks but got put on strict bed rest at 30.  Then I went into PTL at 31 weeks and dilated to 3 cm.  I did hospital bed rest until 34 weeks when they would no longer stop labor.  I went home and made it until 36 weeks 2 days when my water broke.  My girls came out healthy, with no NICU time.. just a little bit of jaundice.  GL - I hope you'll have a similar story!
