Introducing myself....

Get to Know Your Fellow Bumpie - there seems to be a lot of newbies lately so I thought a GTKY/Introduction Poll is in order.  Welcome everyone!

 

1. What is your name, age if you want to share?  Breezy, 32

2. Anything you want to tell us about your DW/SO/DP/DH?  We were legally married in the State of California 08-08-08.  This month and exactly 120 days before our scheduled wedding ceremony was supposed to take place, she told me she fell out of love with me around Thanksgiving time.  So, after 4 years and a family together, I kicked her out. 

3. Do you already have children (if so, names/ages)? TTC (if so, cycle #, method, etc)  Yes, Chloe-Dawn, 9

4. If you already have children and don't mind sharing with others, what was your route to pregnancy?  AI with a prior Domestic Partner of 4 years. 

5. Occupation?  CarMax, I sell cars.  LOL. 

6. Favorite Food?  Water, and Chicken.

7. Have any bad habbits?  I smoke cigarettes.

8. Favorite Hobby/Past time?  Camping, Hiking, Outdoors

9.  How do you like your coffee or tea?  Hazelnut Creamer and Splenda in my coffee and Tea, well...not so much hot...Lipton Sun Iced Tea in the summertime.

    Welcome!  There is an "introduction poll" at the top of the board.  If you can't see it, sort the board by "last post date."

    Also - are you sure you want your phone number in your siggy? If it's your personal number that's fine, it's your own call.  If it's a business number that's against the TOS of The Bump/Nest and we'd kindly request that you remove it.

    can you make that a sticky post maybe? i can't find it and i can't see how to sort the posts or anything like that.

    It is sticky.  There are two posts that I made sticky ages ago.  But they are only sticky if you sort the board by 'last post date.' Unfortunately that's just the way the site works.

    When you're on the main screen that shows all the threads scroll down to the bottom.  You'll see a few drop down menus. From there you can choose sort by "last post date."  Once you do this the threads with the most recent responses will always be at the top.

    I think maybe they're not showing up because the default is to only show the most recent 2 months, and the most recent post in either of them was at the beginning of February. I can see them when I change the default to show all, but not with the 2 months default.

    that's so weird. on the knot (at least in the past) sticky posts stay at the top, no matter how you sort. thanks for the info. i'll see if i can make it work.
