Any other Canadians watching the Vote 2011?

I really hope Stephen Harper doesn't get a majority government!

  • I am watching, but I am hoping that he does get that majority.  I'm tired of the politcal games that the other leaders are playing and the only thing that will settle Canadians politics is a majority, and I'd rather have it be conservative then any other party.

  • Looks like Harper will get it. I do think that it will be interesting with an NDP opposition. I sadly am a Liberal, so I am watching my party fall to pieces.
  • Well, if it was based just on popular vote (who got the most individual votes, as opposed to how many ridings are won by a party), Harper would not have won. In fact, there may not have been a majority at all. But the real story of the night is the NDP. WOW! This is historic.

  • I am so happy with the conservative majority. I even met Prime Minister Harper today and had my picture taken with him. Great Day!!!!!!
  • I'm happy with the conservative majority, but not so much the NDP opposition. DH works for a small business that he'll one day be over-seeing, so the conservatives offer the most for our family, and NDP isn't great for business.
  • I'm pretty nervous and dejected. Now Harper can bring all his back room stuff public and no one will be able to do anything about it.
