Hello, I am new to the 2U2 boards. I have an 8 1/2 mo DD and am 11.5 wks along. I was breastfeeding so I did not have AF. The u/s states that my EDD is 11/21/11. However, I have been feeling kicks and flips for 2 weeks. And my belly button popped last week. This is my 3rd.
With my 1st DD, the Dr. told me at my first appt I wasn't pregnant, then called back with the results from my blood test saying I was 2 wks along. Then at my 3 mo checkup told me I was 5 mo. Sent me for my u/s and the results were I was 6 mo!
Re: Could U/S EDD be incorrect?
If you've gotten a 1st tri ultrasound, those are very accurate. Ultrasounds further along can be very inaccurate and be off by pounds, but not in first tri. The margin of error in a 1st tri ultrasound is a week or less. I'm guessing at 11 weeks you're not feeling baby rolling/kicking and it's just your muscles twitching as your uterus is explanding or gas. I still feel the illusion of fetal movement from time to time at 3.5 months PP!
If you hadn't had an ultrasound already, I'd probably be inclined to believe you're more pregnant than you actually are.
