Underwear & pants question: Is this possible?

I swear my pants and sometimes even my underwear are giving me cramps. I swear the underwear are NOT tight. I can maybe understand the pants sometimes depending on whether or not I wear full panel or not but underwear causing me pain? Really? Anyone else? Is maternity underwear worth trying do you think?

  • I went up 2 sizes in regular bikinis and can't even express the comfort I got from it. i heard the maternity panties aren't worth the extra $$ money I believe we are all different!

  • my low panel jeans sometimes give me cramps (especially if i am in the car for a while for some reason).  i find the full panel much more comfortable.  as for the underwear--try a different style or go a size up, low rise hipsters work for me.

  • Have you ever heard of hanky panky underwear? I HIGHLY recommend them. They are one size fits most and I wore them pre pregnancy and I can wear them the whole time through and it still feels like Im not wearing any at all;)

  • I can't stand stuff on my tummy, including all the new full panels that are like a bella band.

The only underwear I'm loving are the fold down briefs from motherhood maternity. I need to buy one more set because I'm getting tired of pushing the waistband of my regular undies down.

  • Last pregnancy I bought 1 pair of maternity underwear in order to get my purchase total over $50 so I'd have free shipping for some maternity stuff. They were AWESOME and I immediately went out and bought more. I had done larger sized hipster/boy-short undies before that and the maternity undies were a million times more comfy. I moved into maternity undies early this time and they are so comfy!

  • Last pregnancy I bought some low rise underwear so they sit below my belly and I they were super comfy!  Of course now I feel like they ride up anytime I wear them because my belly isn't big enough to keep them in place.

  • Since getting pregnant, I switched to the boy short style and they are heaven. I highly recommend them. Big Smile Oh, and I went up one size for extra comfy-ness.

Same here! I was cynical but they really are much more comfortable. They have a very low rise and are super-soft.

My regular underwear don't fit as well, now. I wore mostly low rise thongs and bikinis but I've gained a bit in the hips/thighs.

  • yup, if I don't wear the full panel I get cramps and am really uncomfortable. You can find maternity underwear for cheap. I'm wearing some now :-P.
