Sorry, this is a P&R, but I will be back after the gym. 

For those of you that check cervical position, what is the optimal position for ovulation?  I can't remember.  Mine feels like it is high, soft, and open. The only reason I ask is because I am probably getting my hopes up for nothing, but i have more watery CM today than I have ever had.  Probably TMI, but I have about a AA battery (length and width) size spot in my underwear and when I am standing, it feels somewhat like a fountain.  Not the most comforable feeling, but if it means that I may be ovulating soon, I'll take it.  OPK"s are still neg.  :(

Anyway, back to the original quesiton......thoughts on cp?

    This!  Sounds like your cervical position is fertile right now. 

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    Someone please explain cervical position to me...I have never felt mine, and though I know your cervical mucus changes with your ovulation cycle...I never really notice a change. Maybe I am just oblivious, but we have been at this a long time and I seem to have overlooked checking my cervical position.
    TTC #1 since 01/08 Began seeing RE 03/11 SA 03/11 2% Morphology, the rest all good 04/11 HSG, left side appears blocked, but the RE suspects a muscle spasm instead. 04/11 50mg Clomid days 5-9. 4/27/11 US shows 2 follies @ 17 & 21 on left side, so no IUI this month. Trigger shot 4/27/11. Still hoping for our BFP!

    I actually started checking it by default because I don't have obvious CM and have to go up in there to find it, lol! Once you do it for a few days, you'll start to notice the differences. It feels like a nose (weird, I know) and the opening is like an indentation at the tip. That indent will get subtley (word?) larger or smaller when open or closed and the cervix itself will feel noticably softer some days. Sometimes mine is so high, I can barely reach it (I check it when I go to the bathroom, still sitting on the toilet) and I have long fingers!

    I have to check my CM internally too....so it is just natural that I can't determine what my cervix feels like.  It takes some getting used to.

    Thanks ladies! Couple more questions though: what is good results? Thick or thin mucus? High or low good for baby making? Has anyone ever heard of taking Robitussin or Mucinex to thin CM?
