New with a newborn

Hey everyone!  My name is Mary and I'm new to the bump!  I have a 4 1/2 month old and live in the Bothell area.  I'm looking for playgroups to join as well as advice about classes and activities to get involved in.  I work full time so scheduling can be a bit of a nightmare!!  Any help is appreciated!

    Welcome to the board. I didn't join one, but everyone on here who did loved their PEPs group, but those are usually for new newborns. I have no other advise. I made a few great friends on here, and we have our own meetups. GL!

    Since you are in Bothell, you might like the Parent-Baby Classes at Evergreen Hospital. Gigglers (3-6 months) are currently Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 9:30-11:30 a.m.

    Also,  Birth & Beyond in Seattle has Mommy Meetups - join other moms, babies and toddlers for an informal social gathering and free play in our Classroom, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3-5pm. No structure, no fees, just drop-in and hang out!

    I thought of joining the Evergreen classes but I work and don't have that much flexibility during the day with my schedule.  Thanks for the birth and beyond tip!!

    Yeah, us working moms get screwed for activities, especially baby ones. Even story times are mostly on weekdays. Feel free to follow my blog for other ideas as they come up though!
