Pain in Lower Back

So last night I ended up having this weird pain in my lower back. I was a little worried, but after using my new doppler I got yesterday, I knew I wasn't miscarrying. So what was the pain caused by? It didn't really hurt unless I pushed my chest out (straightened my back in a weird way). This morning it still hurts, just not as bad. Is this just normal back pain for being pregnant? I'm only 14 weeks, though, so I didn't think the back pain came on until later.

Re: Pain in Lower Back

  • My back is killing me. My ob said it's normal.

  • I'm nearly 16 weeks and I've had the worst gas pains that radiate through my back. My stomach won't even hurt, but my back will kill me when I try to straighten it out or move a certain way. So you could just be experiencing wonderful pregnancy gas pains. :)

  • I am 14 weeks pregnant and getting back pains as well...I think its pretty normal but it does scare me being that I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy. Im going to look into getting a doppler where did you purchase yours?
