Question about the Crib

I purchased a crib and on both sides are three warning stickers. I have tried to take the stickers off, but cannot get them off. I now know, after calling the store, that the stickers aren't supposed to come off. I didn't realize this and they do not look good all over the crib. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them off?

Stickers aren't supposed to come off??  That is weird.  I would try Goo Gone.  It has worked great for me in the past getting off the gunk left over from stickers.  I've used it on wood too.  I've seen it in most stores.  It smells like oranges.

  • Try a REALLY hot rag, and hold it on the sticker, it should scrape up after being soaked for some time with your nail.

  • I haven't tried it, but I've heard that turning a hair dryer on them for a couple mins will peel them right off

  • Our stickers are all hidden but we also had to take our crib apart after we got it together because we flipped the sides had hubby not realized it our stickers would have been seen. Is it a possibility that this happened?

  • I am taking my warning stickers off.  I never heard that they were supposed to stay on.

  • I would say Goo Gone or dish soap all along the edges of the sticker and then take a straight razor (like from a box knife) and scrape it off. I hope whatever you do doesn't scratch the paint or finish on your crib. That is ridiculous that the stickers arent' meant to come off. I have never seen that.

This. GOO Gone is great at taking off stickers.

  • Thank you for the suggestions. I know, I would have never thought that you would need that many warning labels on a crib. They said it was federal law or something and that they couldn't tell me how to take it off. I hope that I can get them off!!!
  • Our sticker was in a VERY noticeable place.  Goo Gone took it off.  :)

Rubbing alcohol has worked for me in the past with stickers.
