Need Help, MIL 50th Birthday

MIL turns 50 in june. She has 3 sons and me , so i guess im the one that needs to get going on a gift or party. What did or would  you do for your parents 50th?

    Party/BBQ at the park and invite all of her friends (without her knowing). My mom is a really casual person though.

    my MIL is in Sweden, but we bought her really beautiful purpley silver roses.

    if she were local, we'd have taken her to dinner.
