  Our daycare is closed today for teacher in-service/continuing ed.  So DH took the day off and is staying home with B.  This is the first time he's been sole caretaker for B for this long a stretch.  He's taken him for a couple hours here or there but never for an entire day.
  

  I will be curious to hear how their day went when I get home.
  

  I will be dealing with this on Saturday when I have a wedding to photograph.. I'm a bit nervous.. SO has only had L for a max of 2 hours. I will be gone for 10 hours on Sat. Kinda scary!

  GL to your H!  My H has only done this a handful of times, but he made it through.  )

  If YH hasn't called you at all, perhaps it's a good sign! haha

  When MH is watching DS, he bugs me with, "Where's the burp cloths?", "What time is he supposed to eat again?", etc etc etc...

  I usually get the screaming child phone call after 2 hours and have to go home to take over. GL

  DH would tell you it was awful.  I would say it was average.
  

  They had a rough morning of B fighting his nap but it sounds like the afternoon was good.

  And last night B slept from 9-12, woke for a feeding and then till 6am.  Which was kinda awesome.
