swim diapers

We're going to visit my parents this week, and my dad is really excited about taking stinker to the pool. Are swim diapers worth it or just something the diaper company wants me to think I need? I don't really imagine he's going to last very long in the water at this point.

Re: swim diapers

  • I think they are needed and alot of pools don't allow a child under 3 to not wear one. I was pretty pissed when i took my PT 2 year old to a pool and was forced to buy a diaper from them. This time around I'm using reusable ones.. They have them at BBRUS and even Walmart...
  • need. but the resuable ones make a lot more sense.

  • It's definitely a need and for public pools it's usually a requirement.  We have the iplay reusable swim diaper and it works great.  It's no more expensive than a pack of disposables.

You definitely need one. Pampers and Huggies have disposable swim diapers and Iplay has a good reusable.
  • We bought a small pack of Little Swimmers for our vacation.  She never pooped in the  pool but when I was running her bath back at the hotel room she peed right through them.  I had pee dripping from my hip down.  I drained the tub and we both took a shower.
