It's a sad day

Sydney lost Baby Pippen (her favorite lovey). He fell off a balcony onto another roof Saturday night, she cried like she'd lost her best friend. We thought we might be able to get him back today but it sounds like the maintenance guy probably threw it away. She's taking it like a champ but I'm sitting here crying. It's silly but I know how much she loved that little cat. Anyway, if you could spare a warm thought for my baby girl today that would be wonderful.

  • When it happened to Willow - I went straight to Ebay and found ONE (her lovey is Froggy)

Yeah, I think I know where we can get her a new one. She's actually being really funny about it and telling us she wants a black one, wait no a red one, or a white one. So I guess it's just me that is heartbroken over it.
  • I would be crying too. I cried when we switched Madelyn from one type of infant binky to another.

Poor Sydney....stuff like that is heartbreaking :(

  • Oh no.  I hope she finds a new lovey to love soon.

    Hang in there Mama.

  • Oh man, that must be so hard.  I also got M another of his lovies on ebay, so he has 2, both equally loved puppies.

  • I would cry, too.  I think the wrld would grind to a halt if G ever lost his Bubba (a ratty blue blankie).

Jillian has "doggie" and "elephant".  Doggie got lost at my dad's house so we ordered her a second one.  The next time we went there she found him within minutes so now she has two.  The three stuffed animals are her little entourage.

Sorry about Sidney's lovey.  It's so adorable how kids get attached to those things.
