Cloth diaper mommas, detergent?

Just wondering what detergent you are using with your cloth stash?  We are using Rockin Green and I am not thrilled as I still have some smell after washing.  Please help!  We are using rumparooz.

We use Tiny Bubbles (sold at Costco and recommended for the Grovia diapers which is the system we bought).  So far we love it.

  • We are using Rockin Green on our unbleached Indian PF with no problems.  What wash cycle routine are you using?  Maybe that's part of the problem.

  • I have been using RnG for a few weeks with no issues. I do a speed wash on cold/cold with no soap, then a hot/cold wash with 2 Tbs RnG, then another rinse cycle.

  • Country Save.  It works very well, especially with my hard water, and it's cheap!  :)

  • This may be controversial... but we use Tide Original Powder and just put in two tablespoons.  They come out sparkling clean every time.

  • We use Country Save and love it. Regardless of your detergent though, if you have an odor after washing you may need to add a second wash cycle.
