Ok so I am glad that Bin Laden's dead and all, however I am scared crapless what kind of retaliation we might face now, but I just ran across the street to a convenience store for a drink and there was a lovely (sarcasm) gentelman in there flashing a "supposed" photo of Bin Laden with a bullet wound to his head. And you know it's legit because, "My cousin's buddy's sister's husband's nephew knows a guy who works at the Pentagon and that's where the body is now, they have it on ice"...

ummmmmmmmmmmm ok, wow, first of all. Apparently no one has ever heard of PhotoShop in these parts...

apparently (giving him the benefit of the doubt for 2 seconds) he wants his cousin's buddy's sister's husband's nephew's friend to lose his job..haha...okay benefit of the doubt is over....weird guy!

Ugh. A girl I work with posted a graphic photo of the statue of Liberty holding Osama's head where the torch should be. So tasteless.

I get that this has been the mission of our military for the last 10 years and this is a monumental event on the war on terror, but let's not brag too much, hmmm? we are far from out of the woods when it comes to global terrorism, and some class would go a long way when America's image seems to be sinking right now. I just think we should show a little humility and not go splashing graphic photos around, that's all.

And apparently they shot him in the side of the head so if the pic he was flashing has one right between the eyes...FAIL.

BTW has anyone ever seen a photo of a dead person? It leaves you with a horrible, queasy, terrified feeling. So I'm pretty sure I'm okay with never seeing an actual photo of his dead face. He was scary enough to begin with.

Glad to see someone else with the same thoughts on this as myself. I am practically worried sick about what kind of retaliation we will face. I hope that this assassination will not have done more harm than good. And I hope that no other countries or peoples will face negative repercussions as a result of it.
