So, after the post a few days about telling your spouse/family when you get that bfp....I have been stalking the internet for ideas. I broke down today & ordered some baby adidas (DHs favorite tennis shoe) & a matching "I love my daddy" onesie. Probably a dumb move on my part...but it has been done!

I think it makes more sense to order the stuff before you need it. I ordered a onesie to give to DH when I get a BFP, and it took a week and a half to get to my house. There is no way on earth that I would be able to wait a week and a half to tell DH I was pregnant! You need to have it ahead of time so you can give it to him the second you get a BFP.

I can't wait to buy little KU (Jayhawks) clothes. FH is a HUGE KSU (Wildcats) fan and I've been saying that I will be bringing my child home in KU gear.

Buuuut I've also been saying we are going to name our baby Javier after Javier Arenas from the KC Chiefs, a team we both love (I worked with their cheer squad back in the day) and when I talk about our baby I call it Baby Javi, and everytime FH scoffs at me.

I am sure our LO will leave the hospital in red and gold for KC, though because both his/her grandpas are HUGE Chiefs fans, too.

haha - that's how I am!

I think I've settled on hanging pick and blue streamers from the ceiling in what will be our "nursery", so he'll find them when he gets home - but in the actual moment I'll probably wind up taking the test to his work screaming like a wild woman..hahahaha

that's such a cute idea and i NEVER thought about having to wait for shipping! i would NEVER be able to keep it in that long! LOL!! I might need to do some internet shopping... Stick out tongue

I'm from SJ area! But I think DH would prefer a mini 49ers jersey! Actually, there's absolutely no way I could be so composed... I'm definitely going to fall into the running from the bathroom screaming crowd.
