I just got an email that at sevenslings.com and uddercovers.com, you can use the code "FIT" today and get one free (plus the cost of shipping). I already got an udder cover a few months ago.
2nd time moms--is there any need for 2 udder covers? Also, what have you heard about Seven Slings? Is it worth the cost of shipping?
Re: PSA: Seven Slings, Udder Covers, and a question
The uddercovers, I've been rec. by a few friends with kids who say they do a great job, so I'm fine with them. But as for the slings, I'm not surprised. They look pretty basic and thin. Although I've heard some people say for a back up sling or to throw in the diaper bag, it's a good idea. Hoping some second timers will help a sister out (again!).
I have one udder cover from them, one from Target, and one a friend made. Their covers are thin but perfect for where I live (SWFL...it's hot!!!). I used the homemade one and one by udder covers more than my target one. The Target cover was too thick and DS got so hot! It does the job and if you just pay S&H I think it's worth it.
Don't know much about the slings.
Edit - if you're going to use nursing covers you'll want more than one. They get spit up on and all that fun stuff. I also kept one in the diaper bag all the time.
