Has anyone had a diaper disappear before?

After I listed my TootieFrootie diaper in my post below, I realized that I haven't seen it in awhile.

I'm scared. It's not like I leave dirty diapers lying around to get lost, but my sister aka babysitter isn't exactly the most organized person with her DD and my DS. I am going to have nightmares about finding a poop filled diaper in some corner of my house.

I found a poop filled diaper that had been left, by a male in the house who will remain nameless, in our upstairs bathroom for at least a week.

The poop was EASILY ploppable and I haven't had any issues with it. No staining, no stink, nothing...

I'll admit. It happened to me once. I took a long day trip to Denver. I took 2 wet bags with me. I forgot one in my car and it slid under the seat. It was there for almost a week. It was pretty stinky but the poo just fell right off it and washed perfectly... thank god!

Now I'm paranoid about it.

Yep, have left diapers in the travel wet bag.

I've also found clean ones behind our changing table -- they had fallen out the back of our storage baskets.

I've been missing two GM fitteds and a wetbag for about a year now. I think I might have left them somewhere.. hopefully they were clean so that whatever poor soul opened it up didn't have to be damaged for life. LOL!

I have a OS FuzziBunz that is mia. I dont know if it is clean or dirty. I am thinking someone might have thrown it away on accident, but I dont know for sure since it has been missing for about a month now.

*Side Note- I find it kind of funny that everyone knows their diaper stash well enough to know when one is missing, even myself.

I had a blue BG 3.0 that I think got thrown out at child care. It was way too long after the fact that I realized it was missing, so I'll just never know!

Yes, DS once came back from MILs with one less diaper than I sent. She said she changed him twice but only gave back 1 dirty diaper. So there must be a dirty diaper somewhere. Ick!

I lost a wetbag with a BG Zinnia Elemental in it. I found it underneath the stroller bassinet like 2 weeks later. No poop luckily!

I would be so upset if one of mine got tossed. I feel for you all.

I'm missing two BG's. I know exactly which two, too. I guess because I bought them from a well-loved sale and fixed them up, so they aren't "standard" BG's -- I notice my fix-ups, and noticed that I haven't seen those particular fix-ups in a while Smile The good news is, at least if they are missing for good, they only cost $2 apiece... I miss the inserts more than the diapers, because they were more expensive!

I'm not missing a wetbag, so I assume they're clean, if they ever turn up.

I did forget a diaper in a wetbag inside the diaper bag for about two weeks, I think. Thankfully, it was a pee-only prefold, so it was no big deal when I finally found it.
