We announced during the middle of 11 weeks. I'm 12 weeks 1 day today. We just wanted to wait until our first ultrasound.

We waited til our second ultrasound just to make sure the baby was still growing appropriately and still had a heartbeat. It was at almost 12 weeks.

We told my mom nearly right away, and then told the rest of close family right before/after our first u/s at 7w5d. After that, DH pretty much told the world. We did end up making a FB announcement last week though, after we had a good NT scan.

Whatever you are comfortable is a great time.

i mean, most of our close friends and family knows already. but i dont wanna announce anything on, say, facebook until i make sure everyone knows. sorta leaning more towards waiting until my NT scan next week when i see the baby again.

We told our family on my birthday. We were about 7 weeks and had just heard the heartbeat a few days before and had a great u/s picture to share.

We then started telling our close friends last week after a good NT scan. We had just hit the 12 week mark and felt really great/confident sharing. But we told them that it's still not public knowledge and to give us another week to tell work and our other close friends in person/on the phone.

I told my supervisor on Friday and want to tell my other bosses today or tomorrow, but I can't find them! I think they might be traveling or in meetings.

And on Thursday, when we are officially 13 weeks, it's fair game and we are letting our parents share the news with whoever they want.

I told my family right after I found out (did with my other two pregnancies as well). I announced on FB at 10 weeks. Work still doesn't know and won't know until it is unhideable, hopefully near 20ish weeks. But that is based on a very bad experience of telling my boss in my last pregnancy and working in a generally hostile toward pregnant women environment.

I m/c'ed in December and I was glad that my family already knew because when I needed to go to the ER I didn't have to explain it all to my mom, I just had to tell her I was bleeding and I needed her to watch my other kids. And it was good for me to have the support of my family at that time. REally glad work didn't know about that though...

A few close friends and our parents know. The circle is slowly broadening. We will facebook announce next week on our anniversary which will be a day after our NT scan.

The immediate family knows already but to others we will tell after the NT scan in two weeks. No plan for a facebook announcement, I feel its totally unnecessary. We are super excited. I know some of my friends are dying for us to have kids.

We have told all the people I wanted to tell on person, and we are going to announce to everyone on Sunday. I'll be 12 weeks.

Told my mom and BFF right away, and waited to tell the rest of our family members until we were at 12 weeks (over Easter). Not sure when we will tell everyone else (friends, etc.) perhaps on Mother's Day? I happen to feel really shy about telling ANYONE while DH wants to tell anyone he comes in contact with whether he knows them or not.

We have had two first trimester losses so the only people we've told so far are our mom's and my work (pretty obvious because I was puking all the time). We had a good NT scan today and got to see the baby turning cartwheels so we will probably tell the rest of the family this weekend. I don't know when I'll be announcing on FB. May do it when we tell the family or may just wait for the inevitable outing by family members.

We told our parents and siblings early (6 weeks) after the first u/s. We started telling close friends after the second u/s (around 8 weeks) and then announced it on fb after the third u/s (10 weeks).

We told everyone (friends and family) the day we found out so 3 weeks and 6 days. It worked for us.

Our immediate family and close friends already know, but I'm not ready to announce to anyone else in the near future. I'll probably announce to extended family and some more friends around 15-16 weeks, and then I'll wait as long as possible to announce at work. I'd love to be able to wait until after the anatomy scan if I'm not showing before then.

We announced it to the masses after our second ultrasound (after we heard the baby's heartbeat and had the doctor say to us "If you've been waiting to tell the masses - now's the time because your chance of a miscarriage just dropped below 1%") which was last Tuesday.

It was so much fun to tell everyone!

We told our parents and sibs pretty much as soon as we got our positive pregnancy test. We told close friends shortly thereafter and we told work last week. We're out.

We told today, too! I was too excited after my NT Scan to not share with the world (FB). Close family and best friends already knew, and I told my boss once my appointments started being frequent enough for her to question what was going on.
