40 weeks plus?!

How are you dealing? Today was my due date and no sign of little bit :( Trying to stay encouraged. How are you that are 40 + weeks dealing with waiting and trying not to worry.

    Today was my due date, too.  I haven't had any signs of impending labor either.  I'm not one to worry, though.  It's my first baby and I know that first babies are often late.  If nothing happens before my next doctor's appointment on Wednesday, I might get a little concerned because I know he'll want to talk induction, but until then, I'm just patiently waiting.

    I just entered 3rd tri- so I am definately not late. I know it can be tiresome and frustrating to go past your edd- but remember it is just an ESTIMATED due date and try not to worry. I am sure everything is fine. Stock up on sleep as much as you can (although I know that's hard too). GL, mama! :)

    I am trying to stay active by doing lots of walking. I also have turned my phone off periodically and disable my facebook wall due to excessive "is the baby here yet???" questions. I think the nagging bothers me more than the fact that LO is past due. It's frustrating but know that you are not alone. Hopefully our LOs come soon :)

    I have an apt tmrw ... as much as I do not want to induce I am really ready to meet this baby.

    I have had an awesome pregnancy w/o any concerns (for the most part) ... so my doc is not concerned with going over. I work a professional job and have only 2 partners so I am now entering my 3rd week of no work - for me it is the waiting and bordom that is driving me nuts!

    I have also tried everything from spicy food, yoga ball, walks, sex, pressure pts, and have had my membranes swept 2x's ... so my new conclusion is that this baby will either come when SHE is ready or I have to face an induction at some point.

    I know it is hard (especially the first few days / week overdue) Hang in there!

    40 wks 6 days here! Some days are better then other. Mentally I am going insane.

    Oh honey, I am 41 weeks 6 days pregnant, and I have been going crazy for about a week now.  It's been a long 2 weeks but I'm still okay and my baby is really healthy.  I hope that you don't have to wait this long to meet your LO, good luck!
