My dr. gave me the okay to exercise normally at my 5 week check up, but I haven't yet. I decided I would start doing some once I go back to work, once I have a routine with life again.
I haven't gotten the OK yet, so I've been walking pretty much everywhere, and wearing DS as much as possible. After I get the ok I'll probably start jogging, wiifit and try the 30 Day Shred.
I'm only 1 month pp, and even babywearing feels too strenuous, so I'm going to wait a bit more before hitting the gym. I'll ask at my May 5th check-up when I can work out.
My doctor said recovery is 6 weeks and didn't even want me vacuuming before then. I've been trying to get out for a small walk every day with LO in a carrier. It's a little uncomfortable on my non-abs, but feels like the right level of activity while I'm still healing! After all, it was major surgery right?
