So sweet

DH teaches Explorer Scouts (jr. firefighters through Boy Scouts) and has a couple of kids from our town in it.  I ran into one of them tonight and he asked if DH would be home tomorrow, because he wants to give DH an invitation to his graduation.  He acted like it was important that he could give it to him in person.  I think it is very sweet that he wants to invite DH and it sounds like he looks up to him.  DH was thinking about passing the program onto someone else on the department, but I think he may change his mind if he knows he made a difference to a student.
