If you've taken progesterone in your luteal phase...

did you get AF same time as normal, later, or not until you stopped the progesterone? TIA!

    AF usually shows up after I stop taking the progesterone, after poas & bfn.  Usually 3 to 4 days after last pill.  FWIW I am on prometrium vag supps.

    I'm on 200mg. oral supps and while it has helped lengthen my LP to usually 13 or 14 days I still get AF while taking it.  Before taking the supps I would start AF on 10 or 11dpo.  Usually AF shows and then I don't bother to take the supps that night. 

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
    IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
    IVF w/ICSI Oct. 2, 2012 - 13R, 11M, 7F, 1 frozen blast 4BB grade - - - FET Nov 15, 2013
    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt

    AF showed up 5 days after I stopped the vaginal suppositories (200mg twice daily) both times I took them.

    I still got AF while taking progesterone.  Although it may have been a day or 2 later than usual, she still showed up.  Then I would just stop with my next dose.  I was on 100 mg suppositories twice a day.

    Usually a few days after stopping them.  Also was on suppositories.

    TTC since 2/2010,Dx with PCOS 12/2010, taking 1500mg Metformin
    2/11-6/11 Medicated cycles w/RE
    7/11-9/11 Break from RE

    This was me too. I don't know if AF would have come if I hadn't stopped the suppositories, but I usually start AF 10dpo, and I stopped the progesterone 14 dpo.

    I was on Crinone, 2x daily. I had abysmal progesterone blood levels (less than 8) I stopped after my Friday AM dose and my period arrived around 2am Sunday night. No spotting during the 2ww.

    I was 18 dpo when I stopped (20dpo when the period came) and I have never had a luteal phase last past 10dpo (usually 9). I usually have weak or no ovulation though. I probably confused the hell out of my body by actually ovulating.

    2011 Treatment:
    IVF w/ICSI #1 Antagonist: 2 blasts - c/p - BFN 04.22
    FET #1: 1 blast/1 early blast - BFP 06.22 - m/c 06.30 @6w0d
    07-11 RPL: MTHFR C677T Heterozygous & Slightly elevated ACLA IgM
    FET #2: 1 morula - BFN: 9.02

    January '12: IVF #2
    Started BCP and Metformin (New!) 12-14 for stimming in January

    Like PPs said, after I stop the progesterone, AF shows up within 3 days.
