NBR- Shape-ups?

Has anyone ever used these or know anyone who has?  The weird-looking workout shoes?  I'm just curious if they work.  I've gotta do something about this baby weight...

    If it's what I'm thinking of, one of my friends got them and loved them.  She said it felt like walking in sand.

    I bought the new balance ones and could not tell a diff but I also bought them b/c they weren't so funny looking.  Maybe the funny looking shape is what is needed.  I do think the new ones that Kim K and Brooke Burke have been advertising look much better than the old ones.  Get on Amazon or the Zappos website and read the reviews..

    Let us know, I only have 5 lbs to go and can't wait to get back to the gym but I have a feeling with the LO that I will be walking a lot this summer vs going to the gym.

    I had bought Reebok Easy Tones about 2 years ago, whenever they first came out.  They were crazy right away and my calves and thighs were sore, like workout sore.  Now, I still wear them daily because they are my most comfortable shoes, but I don't think I get any more benefit from them, or it just doesn't make me sore anymore.
