I'm sure this is all over the boards, but: Welcome to May!
Now..onto what I was saying. Does anyone else's DH or SO constantly ask this question? "Are you in labor?" It's rather amusing, but can be frustrating as I've had few contractions. I cramp a heck of a lot, but nothing more than that. If LO kicks a little too hard, I'll make a face and this question is immediately popped. lol I was just wondering if anyone else gets to hear this question almost daily.
..as you can tell, I'm bored. My DH went out of town last night and won't be back for a couple of hours. The pets are being lazy and I have nothing to do..!!!

Oh, geez! Lol, what to do with our DHs!? It's funny that you mentioned him being in denial. I made the mistake of saying that to my DH one night-- during an emotional outbreak for me. And, he now holds that I said he would be a bad father-- which I never said, lol. I swear, he's getting more moody than I am!
If I mention any discomfort or BHs my H says "No! Not yet - you have to wait until May 6th!" His B-day and his father's b-day is May 6th. As if I have any control over this. I know DH is joking - sort of - but he'd love for that to happen.
FIL sends e-mails everyday - yesturday was famous people born on May 6th and then we wrote - our last name, our last name & our last name?
MIL keeps pestering me over what my doc says about a May 6th possibility and keeps saying "it HAS to be May 6th." She keeps saying I'll have to eat spicy food that day and I should have a big arguement with DH and throw a vacum cleaner at him because that's what happened with ILs and she went into labor with H.
I'm over hearing about this damn May 6th thing - too much pressure. They make me feel like if I don't have this baby on May 6th I'll have failed the whole family.
I was just going to post this! I get it ALL the time....usually the question of: What was that? Are you okay?
If she puts pressure on my bladder, I make a face. Unexpected BH, strong kicks, everything.
Very frustrating!
As the days tick by I have a feeling we will hear more and more of this question from DH/SO.
I love putting him on edge with my little moans and grunts, lol.
