Ultrasound ? Woodwinds Hospital

I made my 20 week ultrasound appt and forgot to ask what type of ultrasound they do, anyone know? Is it a 2D or 3D? Just curious...

    they may have 3D options and give you a few of them, but all diagnostic ultrasounds are 2D because 3D is not medically approved for diagnostics.

    I had an ultrasound done at Woodwinds once (a few months ago) and it of course is 2D, but they do have a 3D option too, bc they gave me a few 3D ones (I got them without asking).

     

    Thats actually where I delivered 4wks ago. Its an AWESOME facility! I kept accidently calling it a hotel, with the free accupuncture (which did actually help my breastmilk to come in quicker), and their classes, and food and everything. It was AWESOME!

    I had everything done at Woodwinds too... I absolutely LOVED IT!!! Best experience ever! I only had 2d ultrasounds, but that may be bc at my 12 wk I told them I never wanted 3d.... I wanted what my baby REALLY looked like to be a surprise...

    That being said... I agree with the pp.... Woodwinds is absolutely phenomenal. Best experience. I even overdid it and ended up back in the hospital 3 days later (high BP... over did it bc I felt so good compared to the last 3 months on bed rest!) and my delivering nurse actually came to visit me! So nice! I can't say enough good things about that place. I will never go anywhere else and I have 3 hospitals that are all closer....
