DH and I do not want another child right now but we are not ready to close the door permanently. I am currently on the minipill (first pack) and experiencing almost constant break through bleeding. My nurse said this is common for the first 3-4 packs! For those in my boat what other options are there? My insurance does not cover any kind of IUD.

    Condoms/Diaphragm is all I can think of. :(

    FWIW, I spotted w an IUD for prob 2 mo.

    I take a progestin/estrogen mixed pill.  Both my daughter's pedi, my ob/gyn, and primary care physician said this was okay as long I had no supply issues and was over 6 weeks postpartum.  I have been on it for a month and a half with no issues.
