Please keep my niece in your prayers

She developed a fever last week and it was getting pretty high (but would go down with Motrin) so my sister took her to the Dr Thursday.  They decided she has tonsillitis and put her on antibiotics.  Well, two days later and her fever is still getting up to 104.  It will still go down with Motrin but comes back up.  Dr said if it were a weekday he would bring her in and run more tests but because its Sat night my sister will be taking her to the ER for blood work, urine tests and xrays.  Really hoping they figure out whats going on and can help!  She's only 5.5!

    Poor thing! Wonder if she could have something like Mono. I had tonsillitis and Mono last August and was running pretty high fevers. Hope she feels better soon!

    My neighbor's 6-year old had similar symptoms and it ended up it was mono. Hope they figure it out and she feels better soon!
