Wow that is a tough one. It looks like 3 lines but the middle line is thicker than most U/S pics I have seen for a girl. But there is nothing protruding from the middle like most boy U/S pics.
My best guess is girl. Did they say anything about bringing you in again when you are a little further along to get a better look?
Was this from your anatomy scan? I would say it's too hard to tell, a guess would be boy.
Best Wishes to my labor buddy FunNSunAZ!

I wouldn't even think that was the genital area if the arrow wasn't there. I have no idea. I do see the 3 lines the other poster mentioned, but I have no clue.
I was told at 13 weeks that I was having a boy...I don't know where you are at but here in Texas the OB's usually send you for genetic testing...they draw blood and tell you a week later what your having...ask your OB it's called a Jack or Jill blood test...good luck..
Looks like swollen girl parts to me. That does not look like what my boy looked like. It is hard to tell though, I hope you have another ultrasound to find out for sure!
This was around 17 weeks and 4 days. I went in later for my anatomy scan and they told me it is a boy....Thinking aout getting one more ultrasound to be sure around 23 weeks.
If you got another shot of it at 20 weeks and they said boy, then why in the world are you showing us an old picture and asking us to guess? Didn't they give you an updated picture?

How far along were you when you went in for the anatomy scan? If they told you boy at that scan, I'd probably believe it was a boy since the results of the 17 week ultrasound could go either way. Was the 2nd ultrasound just as unclear and they were guessing boy?

This is a hard one, if you were 20 + weeks at the time htis was done, I would guess girl and that the little bulge is the cord. I had a girl last time and the 3 lines looked a lot like that with out the little bulge, but this time with my boy, you could see the "turtle" that they talk about. But i had a 17 week US, where the doctor said that the little bulge part can be tricky cause the cord can look like a little penis unless you get a good look.... So that is a tough one, but I would guess girl.

it looks just like one of the shots my u/s tech took from my DS's anatomy scan. even though my DD isn't here yet...this looks nothing like my anatomy scan pictures of her.

ask if they can bring you back for another scan?
Normally I would say girl, but I'm leaning more towards boy for this one. When I zoomed in, it looks more turtle than 3 lines to me.
Good luck either way!!!

Definitely a girl. A boy's parts look like a solid mass at the bottom (scrotum) and a extruding part standing up (penis).
I went in for a u/s today, and it looks similar to your u/s pic. A little 'hamburger'.
